What is Footgolf?

A relatively new sport gaining global attention. Combining the strategy of golf with the skill of soccer, the objective is simple: kick a standard football into a ground hole in as few kicks as possible.

How it Works:

• Scoring: Similar to golf, your score is tied to par on each hole.
• Rules & Courses: Familiar rules and courses echo traditional golf, with larger 50-52 centimeter diameter holes and shorter tee-to-green distances. (Par 3 : 50-100 meters, Par4: 100-200 meters and Par5: 150-250meters) Footgolf courses are often established in connection with a golf course, featuring greens, bunkers, and fairways. This is in contrast to Footballgolf, where there are often specific courses with artificial obstacles that players navigate through/around.
• Equipment: You need a pair of shoes and a regular size 5 football. Most courses don’t accept football boots with grass cleats since they do damage the course.

Where can I try Footgolf?

We have many courses in Sweden and you can find the closest one here. Some courses are open all the time, but some require a booking in advance. A good idea would be to check with the course before you go out there.

Standard green fee for 18 holes of footgolf is around 100-250 SEK.

If you don’t have a football size 5, most courses have free balls to lend.
